Case Study:
Conspiracy Theory of Foreign Meddling in Hong Kong Protests

United Kingdom
2024

Explores the Chinese government's narrative around the 2019 Hong Kong protests, analyzing how the 'foreign meddling' conspiracy theory was constructed and amplified to sustain hegemonic power. The 11-minute video delves into the origins, power dynamics, and media strategies underpinning this narrative.

This video, titled "Conspiracy Theory of Foreign Meddling in Hong Kong Protests," was created as part of the coursework for the module MC52082A: Post-Truth Politics during my second year of study at Goldsmiths, University of London. It was submitted and graded in December 2024.
